Attention Eidos Customers

The back of your new model 117GS Ranger has been removed for shipping purposes. To reattach, please follow these directions.

1) Attach back to frame using the enclosed ½ -13 x 1¾ hex bolt. Tighten using ¾ wrench.
2) Slide the spring release mechanism into the channel on the frame.
3)Apply a small amount of removable threadlock to the threads of the gas spring.
4)Screw the gas spring into the release mechanism until the gas spring actuates when the lever is lifted. (Do not allow the gas spring to fully actuate, this will cause problems when bolting gas spring to back!)
5)Tighten aluminum spring spacer on top of gas spring.
6)Put top of gas spring into bracket at the top of back. Put 3/8-16 x ¼" bolt through bracket, tighten with 3/8-16 reversible lock nut using 9/16 wrenches.
